As Guru Nanak journeyed through distant lands, his feet treading unfamiliar paths in service of divine truth, a moment of stillness brought forth cherished faces from home.

In this gentle vision appeared his father Mehta Kalu, whose worldly concerns had once clashed with his son's spiritual calling, and his mother Mata Tripta, whose faith had nurtured his devotion from childhood.

Most beloved was Bebe Nanaki, his sister, who had first recognised the divine light within him and stood as his earliest supporter. Beside her Jai Ram, his brother-in-law, whose household had offered shelter and understanding. Completing this circle were Mata Solakhni, his devoted wife, and their two sons, Sri Chand and Lakhmi Das, waiting faithfully for his return.

These faces were not left behind but carried forward in his heart, earthly bonds transformed into blessings for his mission.

In Guru Nanak's wisdom, family love and universal love were not separate, but one expanding into the other, like ripples across an infinite ocean.
